ISPRS Technical Commission III Midterm Symposium
5th - 7th September 2014, Zurich, Switzerland
In Conjunction with the European Conference on Computer Vision
How to submit ?

All submissions will be handled electronically via the submission website.

Paper submission is now closed.

Full papers

Papers shall be submitted in electronic form through the submission tool. Papers should be prepared according to the ISPRS guidelines and should be at most 8 pages in length. Papers exceeding the page limit or not obeying the formatting instructions will be rejected without review. The paper submission deadline is strict.

All papers will be subject to double-blind peer-review, normally by three members of the international reviewing committee. Papers will be refereed on their scientific originality and relevance, presentation, and empirical results.

Abstracts

Extended abstracts shall be submitted in electronic form through the submission tool. Abstracts should be prepared according to the ISPRS guidelines and should be at most 1 page in length. Note, extended abstracts for review should give a brief, but complete summary of the paper, thus they are usually longer than the actual abstract in the full paper (typically at least 1/2 page).

All abstracts will be screened by members of the international reviewing committee. Abstracts are meant to report latest results and ongoing research as well as innovative applications.

Policies

The following submission rules apply to both full papers and extended abstracts. Please read them carefully - failure to adhere to them may lead to rejection of the manuscript.

Author Responsibilities: By submitting a manuscript to PCV 2014, authors agree

  • to abide by all PCV policies regarding double-blind reviewing and double submissions.
  • that if the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors will register for the conference and present the paper there.

Double blind review: PCV reviewing is double blind, in that authors do not know the names of the reviewers of their papers, and reviewers do not know the names of the authors. Please see the example paper BlindReviewGuidelines_authors.pdf for detailed instructions on how to preserve anonymity. Avoid providing information that may identify the authors in the acknowledgments (e.g., co-workers and grant IDs). Avoid providing links to websites that identify the authors.

Dual/Double Submissions: By submitting a manuscript to PCV 2014, the authors guarantee that

  • the manuscript has not been previously published or accepted for publication in substantially similar form in an archival peer-reviewed forum.
  • no paper which contains significant overlap with the contributions of this paper is under review at the moment of submission or will be submitted during the PCV 2014 review period to another conference, workshop, or journal.

If there are papers that may appear to violate any of above conditions, it is the authors' responsibility to (1) cite these papers (preserving anonymity as described in the example paper BlindReviewGuidelines_authors.pdf), (2) argue in the body of your paper why the PCV submission is non-trivially different from them.
